3270 Applet

Ismael Ifurung
What I want to do is, from a browser, passthru to a Mainframe
VM 3270 application.  Roughly in this scenario:

1) From a browser, using an applet, TN3270 to VM host.
2) Perform a logon for the user with a predefined userid/password
3) When "Ready;", enter the application command
4) With the application running, present the user with the
   native 3270 screen.

Any recommendations?

I looked at Java3270 class libraries from Jean-Marc Naef.
It looks powerful but complicated (for me, anyway). Anybody used
these classes with NetRexx?  An example would really help.

Thanks for any help.

Ismael

That wheel has been invented ... a web search for '3270 java applet'
produced lots of hits. A year ago I looked at www.unikix.com
and www.openconnect.com. I don't remember details; have a look.
