The current issue of Java Magazine has a short survey of alternative languages for the JVM. Alas, NetRexx fails to make the cut … even though marginal fringe languages like Kotlin and Ceylon are covered. I’m biased of course, but I think NetRexx is more worthy of attention than either of those. Maybe we shall open a *discussion item* on this list *what anyone*
in *each country* could do
to broaden the recognition of NetRexx in the proper local IT-magazines. I (personally) think that a *press release* in the local language (probably to be based on an english version provided by Rene (and/or the Netrexx Board) shall help :-) For sure, I could do the german translation, when wanted and needed. I'm, however, *not doing this myself* without former approval by Rene. For the minute, only want to raise this as a suggestion ;-) Thomas Schneider. PS: I did already do a german NetRexx presentation at the IBM ISV (ISV ::= Independent Software Vendor) some 2 Years ago, but from my recent visit at IBM Vienna it seems that the whole IBM ISV Organization does no longer exist, as I'm no longer getting any IBM News from this channel ... Happy weekend, all, anyway :-) ===================================================================== Am 18.07.2014 07:46, schrieb Fernando

Espagnol: : Fernando Cassia German : Thomas Schneider (in conjunction with Prof. Rony Flatscher and/or Walter Pachl, when they like) other volunteers ??
