I've downloaded the Bean Extender package from the IBM alphaworks
site (www.alphaworks.ibm.com).
It's a pure Java program, which allows to create and manage beans and
it comes with lot of documentation and samples. It runs fine, if you
have enough memory, it consumes about 40Mb RAM, probably more.
To my delight, it supports NetRexx. The docs say, that it is possible
to 'attach Java or NetRexx code to an event listener method'.
Maybe it's time to dig deeper into beans; and maybe this is a sign
for further Netrexx support in other IBM products.
just for those who asked, if NetRexx is supported by IBM...
regards kp
