Hello gentlemen and gentlewomen (if any):
I would like to come back to technical issues:
One of the *most annoying* *features* of current NetRexxC is, that when
compiling *multiple files*, is:
NetRexxC says: Compilation successful.
But: the .nrx source is *not compiled* ...
I'm thinking, that the *compilable sources* should be compiled ...
What do you think?
Tom.
PS:
Hello Mike F. Cowlishaw: :-)
1.) we did discuss this a number of times -- I do know.
2.) I do think there should be a compilation performed, but a *status flag*
somewhere, that the *whole batch* is still not correct, maybe ...
3.) When the *compilable* NetRexx Programs are *NOT compiled* in the
first instance, it's like the -stubs option already proposed on this
list ...
The major reason why someone might want to invoke:
nrc *.nrx
in his current directory is:
1.) Compile *successfully* the *.nrx programs in this directory.
2.) Give me a list of the errros still there...
.. I am correcting the erros.
3.) *retry*, until succerssful.
Sounds *human* doesn't it ?
Tom.
PS: Files with the extension (file type) 'nrx~' should be SKIPPED please,
as JEDIT unwisely decided to use this file-type for the *backup file*
