Date timestamp

Mike Cowlishaw-3
Some versions of Java get this wrong (e.g. 1.1.1 beta) -- you might
like to check that you have the latest Java runtime for your platform.
If that's not the problem, best to check with the supplier of your
Java runtime.

Re: Date timestamp

Marko.Stenvik-2

I tested Date() with versions
HP-UX 10.20:  java version "HP-UX Java B.01.13.01 1997/09/16"        ->  ok

NT 4.0     :  java version "1.1.4"                                   ->  do
esn't work
OS/2       :  JAVA.EXE version "JDK 1.1.1 IBM build o111-19970726"   ->  ok
 (SET TZ=xxx, small letters caused me this timezone error)

Thanks

Marko
