Future of NetRexx

Sandeep Desai-2
Hi all,

I had recently started learing NetRexx.I found this language
very simple.I have some experience of using Rexx on the Mainframes.

I would like to obtain information on the future of this
language, and how NetRexx fares in comparision with Java.

Please also let me know, if NetRexx has been evolved to replace Java.

Regards
Sandeep Desai

It'll be around for a while :-)  It's shipped with an IBM operating system
product, for a start.

It does everything that Java can do, more concisely.

It could replace Java, but that's not really the idea.  Some people prefer
C-like syntax, and Java is better for them.  Others like Rexx or Basic-like
syntax, and NetRexx is better for them.
