I would prefer, Mr. Prof. Rony G. Flatscher, when you are
*responding*
to e-mails relating the whole group, at least (cc) to the Group! :-) You might remember (maybe ??), that when we met first time thee in Raleigh, US, where I did present my band new Rexx2Nrx (www.Rexx2Nrx.com), and later in Boeblingen, Germany, at the 25th Rexx annivesrary, that you did suggest to me I should try to implement my *own* *Object Rexx* Parser. You also did say, those times, that you will help with your students implementing the fermer Obect Rexx *run-time* library, when I would provide the Parser and Generator Engine .. ;-) times have changed, since then .. All the best for you, dear Rony, and good luck for allof our projects :-) Thomas Schneider. ========================================================. Am 02.05.2012 19:49, schrieb Rony G. Thomas,
please stop. Also stop spreading FUD and wrong facts, e.g.: over the years I have *repeatedly* and explicitly advised *against* trying to port ooRexx programs with your project as this is simply not possible with your concept and repeatedly I explicitly *refused* to get any students involved in such an impossible task (being an obligation to shelter the students). This is the last e-mail in this context. Please go back and re-read my e-mails, whether you like them or not, and contemplate what has been said. ---rony On 02.05.2012 20:07, Thomas Schneider wrote: I would prefer, Mr. Prof. Rony G. Hello Gents, again:
Mr. Walter Pachl is *making a ***BIG*** Understatement* here. Formerly, when the IBM Lab's have been there in Vienna, under Prof. Zemanek, who also did invent (here in Vienna, Austria, Europe) in the then *local IBM Lab's* the then *new* PL/I Language (by full *formal* definition of this then *new Language* in the Backus-Naur Form) ... ... then, at the end of this IBM Lab: Walter Pachl has been Chief of the * IBM Rexx Compiler QA team* heer in Vienna (written in *Israel*, as far as I do *know*) ........ *and*, what he did, with his team: ********************************************************************************* * He did (with his team) *assure*, that the IBM Rexx Compiler * * --- has been delivered BUG-Less ---- ********************************************************************************* Now, you might imagine, how imortant it *may be* to get him interested to make some *QA* (fully spelled: *Qualiity Assurance*) for this *ever growing* *** Rexx Family of Languages *** He has the wisdom, and the knowledge, and the energy, and mayb the will(?) to actually *do this* !! Thomas Schneider. **************************************************** (****** NOT cc'ed to REXXLA!!!! ************))) **************************************************** ========================================================== Am 02.05.2012 20:59, schrieb Walter Pachl:
