I have put in a request to UK Servers to get NetRexx compiler running in CGI. They now have ooRexx 4.1 running in CGI.

Ian,
thank you for your help and thank you again for this offer. I do not see any reason to move this list somewhere else - this one has worked for years and years, also because you support it very well. There are going to be some more lists, for development and announcements, and those will be integrated with the source code version management system. But I am very much in favour of keeping this list as long as possible. best regards, René Jansen. I was contacted by some legal people in IBM for the best way to get "something" to our lab director, who was the final arbiter as to whether this could be released or not. I guess he said yes :) > > As for the mailing list - this is not an "official" IBM project and there has been no pressure of any sort for me to close it down. I'm happy to keep it running but if the community think somewhere else is better now then I am equally as happy to close it down. It's up to you lot really. > > Ian > _______________________________________________ > Ibm-netrexx mailing list > [hidden email] > Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ > _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ |

Congratulations and great thanks for all your efforts over that past several years. A wonderful outcome for the Rexx community! No, no qualms at all. This is basically a short MIT style license. What else could we wish?
Well, maybe a better suited license denomination... but at least NetRexx supports Unicode! ;-) - Saludos / Kind regards, David Requena NOTE: The opinions expressed here represent the opinions of the authors and do not necessarily represent the opinions of those who hold other opinions. -----Original Message----- From: René Jansen <[hidden email]> Sender: [hidden email] Date: Thu, 9 Jun 2011 12:59:50 To: IBM Netrexx<[hidden email]> Reply-To: IBM Netrexx <[hidden email]> Subject: Re: [Ibm-netrexx] Great News: NetRexx Open Source _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ |
