Happy Birthday!

Tom Maynard
My calendar at least says that today is the day we all celebrate the “birth” of NetRexx.  May the festivities begin in earnest.

And a special thanks goes out to MFC, without whom none of this would have been possible.

Happy birthday to both of you: MFC & NetRexx.

Re: Happy Birthday!

Joe Niffen
Yes, many thanks Mike for your contribution to the computer world.

One good question is the newer version of Java seems to break older apps.
Is NetRexx affect with the Java version updates that much?

I don't currently use Java/NetRexx directly so cannot answer that, but I expect someone else on this list will be able to.

Re: Happy Birthday!

rvjansen
Joe, please let us know the problem. NetRexx 3.03, from last year, has fixes for the newly introduced bytecodes in Java 8.

The development team is not aware of any other problem with new Java versions.

Best regards,

René Jansen.
