ICATJAVA Debugger

K.-P. Kirchdoerfer
Hello;

anyone out there who has experiences with ICATJAVA?

I've did some tests, and suprisingly it shows the code of nrx-files.
Does that mean it works with NetRexx files, or just with java
sources, which I can get with '-keep' ?

Also; I've been able to do something useful with single classes, but
couldn't figure how to run a complete application, depending in many
classes, step by step with the debugger.

Any hints are welcome, 'cause as long rexx programmer I'm new to
debuggers :)

TIA kp

ICATJAVA Debugger

Andreas Zieritz
I'm interested in knowing some facts about ICAT, too. Due to my limited
space on the harddisk (I'm running OS/2) I want to delete something (and
ICAT is one candidate...) .

What is ICAT really for, do I need it when writing Netrexx-applications?
What severe problems could occur if I delete this subdirectory?

If you don't have something like it, the attached Rexx program
will help you find out where all the space went on your hard
drive.  If you like it please let me know.  It's not "production
quality" but it is pretty fast.

My advice re: hard drive space is to price some of those
really huge and really very cheap hard drives out there.
I took out my tape back-up so I could put in a *third* hard
drive, this one with over 3 GB.

And if you're into networking at all, set up the OS/2 File and
Print Client and Remote Dial-in to somebody's office and
put your back-ups there!

Hope you like my program...
Jeg hÃ¥ber de kan lide mit programme!  (Sorry, I don't
 know Norwegian.)
