All LOGOS System files are ordinary Unicode Text-files. Use Jedit, or a similar editor, to edit them.

The filename Logos below is, however, replaced by the actual Language in question

Such, for instance, the Alphabet file below for the language 'Deutsch' shall be named Deutsch.LA below.

The following summarizes the available files:

Logos.LA – The Alphabet of the given language (with Hex Code and frequencies)Logos.LC – The Claims of a language (with frequencies)

Logos.LQ – The Questions of a language (with frequencies)

Logos.LW – The Words of a language (with frequencies)

Logos.LP – The Phrases of the language (with frequencies)

This are the 2-n word Phrases, sorted by descending frequencies

Logos.LX – The basic LOGOS specification, used as a roadmap and testcase as well :-)

Note that all files do contain a line-number explicitely. Those line-numbers are used to identify the entries. They must not be changed by the user.

Those line-numbers are used, together with the Language and the file-type, as the lexical identifiers within the Logos system, which are implemented as so called indexed strings in NetRexx.

For details of NetRexx, look at www.netrexx.org. Note, that NetRexx is an open source language, and doesn't cost you anything. It has been developped by M.F. Cowlishaw, an ex-IBM fellow, who is also the father of „classic Rexx“. See www.RexxLA.org, which is the host of the „Rexx Language Association“, both for the history of Rexx and the available dialects and implementations.
