Is NetRexx and active Product?

FreeFall
Folks,

I thought that I'd ask a retired technical author whether he'd be interested in helping to extend the NetRexx documentation, his reply contained this:

"I've had a quick look at the IBM NetRexx website and library. Is it still an active product? The User Guide seems reasonably comprehensive, though 10 years old."

When I first looked at NetRexx, I was concerned that it may be defunct too.   Perhaps lots of potential users have gained the wrong opinion and passed the language over.   Is there any possibility that the REXXLA website be updated to give an impression of activity, even if we can't update the IBM one?

Regards,

Connor.

Hello Connor,
NetRexx *is* an active product, for sure.

You might find some additional information on the main-page of my
www.Rexx2Nrx.com and the recent
NetRexx 2 Reference manual on Mike F.Cowlishaws www.speleotrove.com.

There are also current efforts from Rene Vincent Jansen to collect all
those pieces on www.netrexx.org

Kind regards,
Tom.

Hi Connor,

www.netrexx.org will be online soon (next weekend I guess) and will be linked to from the main RexxLA site. Please tell your friend/collleague/acquaintance to be in touch; there is lots of work to be done.

best regards,

René Jansen
