I notice that the last post to this group was more than a year ago.
I'm trying to determine if I should put any time into an Eclipse plugin editor for NetRexx. Thanks Bill Fenlason -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://ns2.hursley.ibm.com/pipermail/ibm-netrexx/attachments/20060524/a43fed97/attachment.html |
Me and five people in my company develop netrexx scripts currently on Jedit, although other developments are done in Eclipse, so we would benefit of an integrated IDE Regards, Alejandro ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ adbraintage Alejandro P?rez +34 934749600 Engineer www.adbraintage.com [hidden email] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hmmm I've got a posting from MFC from Feb '06. > > I'm trying to determine if I should put any time into an Eclipse plugin editor for NetRexx. I'd sure like one -- I'm using a text editor now... -- Regards, taf |

I suspect the archives are no longer being updated (in fact I thought they had been taken offline) -- ther have certainly been posts to the list this year. Mike |

I use NETREXX, I would be very interested in a NETREXX plugin for Eclipse. No matter how you spell it REXX is still the king. <g> Jerry garren - Los Osos, CA |

Yes! A NetRexx eclipse plugin would be highly prized! > No matter how you spell it REXX is still the king. <g> > Jerry garren - Los Osos, CA > Damn... a third DITTO. I make a profound effort to put rexx onto as many desktops and servers I can get my hands on. Cheers all. Jerry |

I've been coding in NetRexx using JEdit or Crimson (Windows) or Kate
(Linux). I have played around with Eclipse and would love to use it for NetRexx. Based on the responses here and to my note in comp.lang.rexx, it seems that
there is more interest in an Eclipse plugin for NetRexx than there is for classic (ANSI) Rexx or ooRexx. Makes sense, considering the NetRexx / Java connection. Thanks for the feedback. No promises at this point, but I am working on it. Bill Fenlason ps Sorry about my confusion with the state of this list. I found it on Yahoo Groups, and apparently they are many months behind. |

Hi all! Anyone can briefly tell me what differences are in 2.05 vs 2.02 (if any)? At http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/netrexx/nrchange.html the latest version is 2.02, but http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/netrexx/download.html points to the download of 2.05 Thanks in advance |
