NetCobol (Cobol to Java)

BRADLEY
Not that I would ever want to program in COBOL but on Page 300 of
the September 22, 1997 issue of InformationWeek, there is an article
about NetCobol by Fujitsu and MicroFocus.

Bummer that the article does not even mention NetRexx.  Mike perhaps
you could write InformationWeek informing them about NetRexx.

A Rexx and Java fan,

Brad Simonin

Not only that, the Mill, Hill & Canterbury Group sells Wirth-languages,
Pascal,
Modula-2 and Oberon  have made an announcement that they are developing
versions of these languages for Java.

Let's not forget about Eiffel for Java. Yes, there are some really
courageous people working on that.
