Thanks for all the suggestions.
On the older PC's The installer built a NetRexx directory in a Program files\NetRexx directory. On two newer laptops -- just one netrexx directory. I believe that contributed to the problems I encountered on the older boxes. All PCs are at XP SP3 (updated).
