Hi!

I'm watching this list for more than half a year just to stay in touch with NetRexx. I have planned to try it
out, but until now I didn't have good enough PC. At our Enterprise (i.e. my job) we have deployed OS/2
ver. 2.1 and 3.0 (almost ) exclusively on all servers and workstations. I expect one of our future directions
might be usage of Java aplications so I want to be prepared for it. I also program in rexx for quite long
time and this is reason why I'm watching this list.

Now I'm in doubt should I use OS/2 ver. 4 as it will shurely support newer versions of Java or can I stay
with well known OS/2 ver. 3? As far as I know OS/2 v3 supports only Java up to ver. 1.02. Is this true? If it
is, this means that we have to upgrade all our Enterprise desktops in the near future. How this dilema
stands for Workplace On Demand?

Milan

I used JDK 1.1.4 with Warp 3 FP35 applied. No problems so far. Even
JDK 1.1.6 pre Release seems to work...
