Hello there,
I did now download Netrexx vs. 3.01RC1.
* Well done, my congratulations.* :-)
However, I *personally* think that the User's GUIDE should include reference
to the currenlty available IDE's, as of:
-- Kermit Kiser's NetRexxScript for instant development of NetRexx
Programs in the 'Interpreted Mode' (for Scripts)
-- David Requenas NetRexxDE for using an IDE with the NetRexx Compiler
-- Bill's newly announced ECLIPSE plugin for using NetRexx in the
ECLIPSE Environment.
I personally think this is of utmost importance, as the next step, as NO
YOUNG Programmer would like to use NetRexx in the command environment
(as we oldie's do ... ;-)).
Thus, the NetRexx User's Guide should contain reference to those IDE's,
as well as instructions how to install and use them, as well as
practical examples.
Probably for version 3.02, to NOT delay REXXLA version 3.01 release.
Thomas Schneider.
PS: I do leave it up to the project management (Rene Vincent Jansen)
to open up an issue on this on KENAI, after discussion with the ARB,
(when wanted/needed)
