While it’s likely that interested members of this list are already aware of the
Pi4J Project, I wanted to mention it for those who may have missed it.
The purpose of Pi4J is to expose the internals of the Raspberry Pi to Java (or in our case, NetRexx) developers.
Heretofore my own work with Java/Pi has been in the
Java ME 8 SDK area, but Pi4J aims to bring it all a bit closer.
Note: Pi4J is still in its infancy, but is said to be “reasonably stable” and only really lacking in -- you guessed it -- documentation. But as we all know, that’s not a problem, it’s an opportunity.
