I read: About the Rexx Language Association The Rexx Language Association (RexxLA) is a worldwide, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use and understanding of the REXX programming language. " the REXX programming language" needs to be something like ... the REXX programming languages as there are Classic Rexx Object Rexx NetRexx. and another idea: What do you think about placing some portrais of the PEOPLE in ar affiliated with REXXLA onto the REXXLA Page such as I did here: http://www.austria-lexikon.at/af/Infos_zum_AF/Editorial_Board/Pachl%2C%20Walter_english For more information about RexxLA, visit _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ |
Walter,
I thought I had found all the places where we said "Rexx programming language" and changed it to "Rexx family of programming languages" long ago. Yes, it certainly needs to be changed. As for the photos, we are slightly ahead of you: we took a few new ones yesterday afternoon. We couldn't find a police arrest slate, but we did get Les to stand against the wall long enough to finally have a mug-shot of our Secretary/Treasurer to add to the website. Gil apparently felt that his picture made him look too youthful, so he got a new one. As for yourself Walter, you handsome devil, we may have to make you a Board member just raise the level of the photo page above "driver's license". Think anyone would notice if I substituted your photo for mine? As hard as it was to get the RexxLA Officers & Board members to agree to having their photos on the website, it never occurred to me that anyone would want to do so voluntarily. I think it's a great idea, especially if accompanied by a précis of what they are working on. Chip,
Thanks for the positive feedback and I suggest not restrict it to the board members but let interested parties submit their photos and a few notes on what they are doing. You'll announce when one can actualliy see your camera's output on REXXLA PS It's my specialty to find errors:-) Walter ---- Chip Davis <[hidden email]> schrieb: > Walter, > > I thought I had found all the places where we said "Rexx programming > language" and changed it to "Rexx family of programming languages" > long ago. Walter,
if no-one beats me to it I'll locate and send them - but I am traveling at the moment so it needs to wait a day or so. best regards, René.
