Random read i/o with readLine

kenner

I know I saw some sample code within the last week where the read was for any line in the file at random, but I can't find it again. All the examples just loop thru the file from beginning to end. I have loaded an array to hit randomly, but that's kludgey.

Any clues??

I think you just put the JAVA code in the netrexx. . . But I don't have a handle on it yet. . .

This popup is also not correct. It should direct you to the Plugins --> Plugin Options drop downs.

Kennet,

You're absolutely right.

There used to be just Global and Buffer options with no separate Plugin options.

That is in fact my only complain with jEdit. They keep changing things continually

Will be corrected in next version.
