Raspberry Pi and Motorola Lapdock

Tom Maynard
The Motorola Lapdock was a wonderful idea, but it was overpriced (ca USD400) when new, and has since been discontinued.

Now, however, they're quite cheap -- around USD50 or less.

And here is a nice article about interfacing a Raspberry Pi to the Lapdock -- nearly identical to the same connections as the Beaglebone Black.

Cool, I’m just starting to get interested. Now, what can you do with it?

Only the same things you can do with a 286 (or 386) based PC running Linux: Just about everything.

You are limited only by your imagination, and your willingness to experiment.

<base href="x-msg://206/">Kenneth,

what you ususally would do with a computer - run Linux, Android, RiscOS, VM or MVS on it, and, in additiion to that, interact with its environment in wonderful ways.
At this point, I would like to put in a plug for my own "NetRexx on the Raspberry Pi" presentation, and Mark Hessling's "Regina on the Raspberry Pi" presentation, to been seen at next week's International Rexx Language Symposium in Raleigh/Durham (a limited number of places still available).

best regards,

René,
