Alan has provided a useful introductory article.
Additionally, SWT can be considered. Here is another article comparing all three. Reading both articles (and Wikipedia) may give you a good understanding of the situation. http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/grid/library/os-swingswt/ SWT is used by Eclipse and has advantages and disadvantages. I don't have statistics, but I would assume that SWT is not as widely used as the others. The SWT StyledText widget is reasonably powerful. I don't know if Swing has an equivalent - I haven't checked since I pretty much stick to Eclipse. Hello Bill, and *all*:
What I'm simply seeking for is *partner* doing all this for me, as I'm fully loaded in releasing my stuff. He/She will get a *fare share* in my company: ThSITC IT-Consulting KG. He/She will NOT have to invest money, just knowledge, and time :-) Thomas. ==================================================================== Am 10.02.2012 19:37, schrieb [hidden email]: > Alan has provided a useful introductory article. > > Additionally, SWT can be considered.
