Hallo Michael,

   *super Idee*,

Wenn Ihr das organisiert, halte ich gerne einen Deutschprachigen
Überblick, auch gerne einen Kurs.

mfG,
Thomas.

Hello Rene, David, Kermit, Mike,

I'm happy to report that my yesterday meeting with 3 representatives of
IBM Austria here in Vienna has been quite successful, and fruitful for
both parties, I do hope.

I introduced to them NetRexx, and the recent decision of IBM to give
NetRexx Open source. Told them about
www.netrexx.org, Rexx2Nrx, etc.

Also told them that NetRexxC 3.01 will be available sometimes in
September, 2011.

Rene: Dr. Michal Alexander, Technology Executive, IBM Innovation Center,
located here in Vienna (see CC) will probably contact you directly to
get more information about REXXLA, etc.

Please do respond to him with cc to me, so that I do know, which info he
does already have, and that I may support your efforts locally when
necessary..

I'm now in process to become an IBM ISV (IBM Independent Software
Vendor), for my commercial products, namely Rexx2Nrx, DB-123 and PP.

We will try, together, to get some pilot customers for those products
in the so called DACH Region (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland), which
Dr. Alexander and his crew do support here from Austria.

Rene, I leave it to you whether you would like to disseminate this
information to the ibm-netrexx group. the REXXLA NetRexx Board,  or any
other community for the NetRexx Project.

I did also ask Dr. Alexander to subscribe the NetRexx Project on Kenai
as an Observer, so that he stays informed on any news of this constantly
growing
community.

I'm also copying Mike Cowlishaw, Author of NetRexx, for his personal info.

Kind regards from sunny Vienna,
Thomas Schneider.

.
