Re: PP Control Tables for Java.

ThSITC
Hi Alan,
1.) thanks for intant reply. :-)
2.) Maybe I did xpress my desires wrong :-(

My *personal knowledge* of Java and C# is very tight.
I do know C quite well, as I did write Software in C in earlier days (for DOS 1.0 !!!)

I'm seeking for someone to X-Check my *Control Tables* for my Parser for Java and C#.

What I mean, is:

I will fillout what I do know from the books I do have on my desk.

I wll adapt my PARSER myself (too long learning Curve fo others, maybe)

But I will need help from individuals *fluent* in Java &/ C# specialities.

And individuals testing and QA'ing my soft.

Copying this back to ibm-netrexx for info (and maybe action?)
Thomas.

Well introduced CRACY UNCLE THOMAS, (c) Mark Miesfeld, as far as I can remember ...

Thomas,

I'm contractually forbidden from working on commercial s/w other than that for or on behalf of my employer.  Open source i a grey area but other than taking part in the mailing list it probably isn't appropriate that I volunteer any time.

Hello Alan,
wold you have time (and also interest)to co-work on the PP Control Tables
for Java ?

I'm attaching the Rexx and NetRexx Tables as samples.

PP is translting *any Language* to an internal Code (both decl and actual code)

My Java knowledge still goes into a *very small pocket*, but most of my
Parser is already prepared for Java (anc C# as well.... ;-))

Rexx, ooRexx, NetRexx, Rey,  PLI, COBOL is already done, but I'm still testing nd writing he doc's

Re: PP Control Tables for Java.

Thomas,

do not quote private conversations to a list without permission. This
is far from the first time and I have the impression that you are
oblivious to the damage that you are doing. The netrexx list is not a
vehicle to solicit work for your commercial projects.

Also, we have heard for some decade now about your translators. I am
not only speaking for myself if I asked you to limit the traffic on the
subject a bit, perhaps until you release something.

Also, your mail footer states that you are a member of the NetRexx
development team. Actually, you are not. The members of the NetRexx
development team are stated in the wiki on the Kenai site, under
"members of the development team".

Let me repeat: do not crosspost - ever again. You did several last
week. Keep to the subject. The list audience in general is not
interested in your opinion on the yahoo messenger or the maya's. Normal
off-topic dicussions are allowed but there is a limit and you have
reached it long ago.

However sympathetic I am to all loose banter and free speech in
general, I have also the interests of Rexx including (Net-) to defend.
Please do not make me change the decision to leave this list at IBM, and
unmoderated.

Copying private conversations to a list can cost people their jobs and
their future. You did copy private correspondence to this list now
several times. If you are wondering why the tone of this email is
sharper than my usual light prodding - this is the reason.

You have your access to this list, and the RexxLA list, in your own
hands now. Please think twice before pressing the 'send' button.

best regards,

René Jansen.
