Hello Rene & all,
I fully will support any attempts for a centraliced (and managed) www.netrexx.org site. I will, hoever, than have to 'change' all of my package instructions. Currently, for my (new, under development) stuff, im am using package Rey.RT -- for the Run-time (was formerly Rexx2Nrx.Rexx2RT) package Rey.PP.Rexx -- for the Rexx Parser package Rey.PP.PLI -- for the PLI Parser package Rey.PP.CBL --- for the COBOL Parser package Rex.PP.Gen -- for the Program Generator stuff etc. When we centralize this, that should of course become: package org.NetRexx.Rey.RT etc, etc At the current minute, I will stay on the convention indicated above. But I think we should continue to re-use Rene's expereince from his ABN-AMRO work in manigaing very large projects, hence I will wait with any final release and decision until we all agree on the new package structure needed ... I will now, as a first step, try to get NetRexxDE and NetRexxScript running on my machine, and try it out for my own -- now totally NetRexx based -- development work. I will keep in touch. I am also copying ibm-netrexx in this discussion, as I heard this group is rather small and interested to be kept informed in any progrss we make together. Kind regards from dark Vienna, Tom. ============================================================= David Requena schrieb: > Hi All, > > Of course, netrrexx.org <http://netrrexx.org> would be the obvious > right choice. > > I've got the impression that netrexx.org <http://netrexx.org> is just > a reserved domain today with no proper hosting behind, let > alone developers infrastructure as SCM, bug tracking database, > etc. I'm I right? > > I'm afraid the whole thing is a little bit immature right now.
