Rey installation procedure -- needing advise (when possible)

Thomas.Schneider.Wien
Hi there,

as I'm working from home since a couple of years now, I'm not so
comfortable
with all those tools available on the market to install a Software with the
minimum interaction required by the user.

And I do not have any collegues to ask, except you ...

What I'm currently trying to do is to finish *my* Rey (Rexx for Java)
project.

What I'm currently seeking for is a *simple* Download mechanism, both
for the actual Software (ReyC.jar and ReyR.jar), my example programs
(currently some .rex and some .nrx files) and (*optionally*) the whole
source.

Rey, by *desire* will go open source. As I'm getting older, and older.

Has any one of you do have practical experience with a *FREE* Java tool
doing what I would like to accomplish, and/or give me some URL
where to find the necessary doc's ?

Thanks in advance,
Tom.

Thomas,

I'm afraid I have no experience with these products but links at the list I
handed you recently should point
to each of the free java installer's home page, where proper documentation
should be found.
Hope that helps a bit

David

Rey installation procedure -- needing advise (when possible)

Hello David,
I will read those links, surely:

**BUT somebody (either from REXXLA.org and/or IBM-NetRexx**)

did TRY (actively) to **break/access** my Desktop Computer.

Whilst working down all (my) open issues, I'm finding (on my computer)
a LOT of so-called SHELL-Scripts (named NetRexxC.sh) which I,
for sure, did never write!!!

I could NOT have written those, as I do not even know UNIX shell script
language....

Your there, outside, could you please immediately STOP to try to
BREAK my computer(s).

Thanks in advance.
Thomas Schneider.

(And sorry, Mike F. Cowlishaw, that I am writing this mail to BOTH Lists)

But somebody putting software on my desktop and over-writing my
own software, is a *culprit*....

I *do not like that* ::: !!!! :-( :-( :-(
Tom.
