Hello there,
without ANNOUNCING any new products, I'm simply asking if somebody
in this community has spare time to help me with documentation issues.
I'm planning to release (at least the CORE) of my Program Porting
Machine,
called PP for brevity, with the assistance of David Requena there at
www.kenai.com, project PP.
My so frequently (and never released) Rey Compiler is another story.
I will now really need help for documentation issues.
Let me tell you the story:
1.) Back in 1974 i id dvelop an own language, called LOGIC, for program
development.
2.) This has been a (worldwide widely used so called 4th Generation
Language). It has been used worldwide on GEISCO's (General Electric
Information Services) MARK III Service. Imagine: we did have XFILE
(worldwide mail Service) back in 1974!
3.) LOGIC did expand FORTRAN IV, later FORTRAN 77, later ...
4.) By joining back in 1997 (??) an IBM MainFrame customer again,
i found, by instance, a PC Rexx book (with the famous The Rexx Language
Book by MFC), tried it, and sudde4nly realized that REXX was available
on my CMS Machine... Surprise, surprise.
The story is toooo long to write it down here.
What I'll release with Rexx2Nrx release 7.00 is:
a) a new run-time package (already released open source to org.Netrexx)
b) a set ot utilties, mostly emulating OLD MARK III commands ;-)
What I would need is assistance in documenting my (multi-lingual)
SCANNER and PARSER.
I simply don't have the time write this all down...
Any volunteers?
When yes, please do contact me privately, so that we don't bother this
list to much ;-)
Thomas.
