http://pyjs.org/Pyjamas is a Rich Internet Application (RIA) Development Platform for
both Web and Desktop. It contains a Python-to-Javascript compiler, an
AJAX framework and a Widget Set API
Quote: "Why should I use Pyjamas?
You can write web applications in python - a readable programming
language - instead of in HTML and Javascript, both of which become
quickly unreadable for even medium-sized applications. Your
application's design can benefit from encapsulating high level
concepts into classes and modules (instead of trying to fit as much
HTML as you can stand into one page); you can reuse - and import -
classes and modules."
A "readable programming language" Now where did I hear that before. :)
NetRexx is better than "readable" it´s HUMAN READABLE. ;)
Anyway, I still think NetRexx could use some of the wording of that
"Why should I use [replace with NetRexx] ?"
Btw: I had a good laugh with this
http://pyjs.org/will_and_abe_guide_to_pyjamas.htmlI´m not advocating that NetRexx.org blatantly copies that dialog, no,
but injecting some humour (or humor ;) "inspired" *cough* *cough*
*wink* *wink* on that would be nice.
