Ciao,
In the last two years I've been using, as many of you also certainly
did, NetRexx in my everyday work which was mainly providing
expertise to software shops (consulting). Now I have finally settled
with a firm, and we're establishing a web presence with a box
connected 24/7 on the net (this is also one of the reasons why my
personal projects seem to be languishing.. But it isn't really so:
just wait for the web launch jan, 1st 1999!); since we have disk
space to spare, we would like to create, among other things, a
NetRexx section of the company web site.
There have been many ideas, and after a brainstorming we came
up with two proposals:
1) Giving free disk space to people that have public domain or
freeware NetRexx projects (both documentation and software
projects).
2) Creating a small monthly NetRexx e-zine, to help the NetRexx
scene look less static than it does today. Sure, NetRexx is used in
many places, but all of the web resources you can find are pretty
static. Wouldn't you want to know how is Dion's project going (I, for
one, would :-)), or perhaps you're curious to know how to install
NetRexx under some o.s. that you've just installed, or you could
help by signing a petition to send Ibm about THEIR VAge NetRexx
etc etc..
We have a webmaster that will care about putting the resources on
the web and establishing contacts with similar Java e-zines,
therefore we'd "just" need content. *Your* content.
All kinds of feedback are welcome, and please if you think you can
apply to 1) or 2) please don't be shy and contact me at:

In case you're not faint at heart and can stand some italian
language (still better than profanity!) point your browsers to:
http://www.flsystem.it(The english site is still under construction, as some sections of
the italian one, everything will be ironed out in time for Jan 1st 1999)
Max
