TRACING PROPERTIES of 'called' methods

Hello there,
    after playing around with NetRexxC (3.00), I'm still *wondering* why
the instruction

TRACE VAR xxxxx

    Does NOT TRACE Variables (or shall I say Properties?) of other classes.

Is this by design, or is this an oversight?

I am currently NOT able4 to force my NetRexx program to trace variables

RexxMsg.ic1, RexxMsg.ic2   (etc)

in ANOTHER program when I did define it as:

class SCAN uses RexxMsg

(for instance)

Any insights ?
