Ugly look of Netrexx.org tools section

Fernando Cassia-2
See this screenshot:

1) why does the URL change to amazonaws... isn't it possible to create
an empty html with an IFRAME loading the site seamlessly inside it,
but preserving the netrexx.org domain name?
2) After clicking on Tools, why the empty whitespace below the two
only entries currently available and the image below?
Must be to honor the trademark IBM documentation tradition of "this
space intentionally left blank" ???

*pun intended*

Thoughts? Comments? Expletives? ;-)

The website should be removed from that non-standard apparently
proprietary whatever and use plain HTML.  If only so the browser's BACK
button works as expected.  And it would also speed up initial loading.

And, yes, once again, I do volunteer to move it.  NetRexx and/or
RexxLA.  (At this time I am much more at home with HTML+Javascript than
NetRexx.)

DHTML menus can go a long way. :)

Hi Jeff,

I would like to take you up on that offer. I'll email you the credentials for the svn that it is in so we can work from that.
Btw, the site is standard html5 and javascript - just not the most fortunate implementation of it around - but certainly nothing proprietary. I agree on all points with you and Fernando.

If you can take care of the static parts first than we can focus later on a NetRexx driven backend.

best regards,

René Jansen.

Re: Ugly look of Netrexx.org tools section

ThSITC
Helle  Rene, and all,
I've seen in the correspondance that there are there some complaints
about forwarding www.netrexx.org using AMAZON.

I do have a contract mth my Austrian InterNet Provider, which would
allow me to *host* www.netrexx.org on their Server Farm.See www.nessus.at
fr Details of their services.

A my current contract with them for my own home-pages has plenty of
still free storage, etc, ad a very high Bandwidth they are providing,
with a very *secure* Hard-Ware center, pls. do discuss this possible
Alternative on the RexxLA meeting in Raleigh with the responsible
persons of the RexxLA Board.

Kind greetings from Vienna,
