Hi Rene, again, and all,
I do notice, now, again, that so many files in the NetRexx Distro are in *Unix/Linux* format, having the *wrong delimiters* for beeing able to display/print them on a Windows Based System (like my ancient Windows XP on my desktop) :-( Any chance to correct that, please ? Although it is a matter of opinion which one has the 'wrong' delimiters, the fact is here that the right tools make the work easier. For example, notepad makes work nearly impossible on windows, but wordpad or notepad++ is able to handle the files the right way, as does emacs. So I do think it is better to switch to better tools than to normalize on one of the delimiter formats (we would then have the problem and Linux or MacosX - although I admit I hardly ever have that problem there, as I do a normalize-whitespace command in emacs to solve any and all of this), or have separate packages.
Please try to open the files in wordpad and see if that helps. best regards, René. jEdit also deals with this without a hiccup.

As 70 % of this Earth are using Windows, and only 30% Unix/Linux, I
shall think that *NetRexx Distros* shall *conform* to the *majority* (Dear Devil, and dear God, Do I personally Hate Bill Gates for changing all those subtle Details *just* to ERAN Money!!!) Changing the established Slash (/) to a Back-Slash(\) in Microsoft DOS! He shall be *hanged* (terminated) for this *totally unnecessary* change of already established conventions! Personal Viewpoint, of course, onyl, for sure, I shall *not* murder him ... (I'm simply too lazy ... Sorry!) Full stop, again, from my side! Ony Objections, or other means of saying I'm stupid, accepted, of course! Hello Gents,
Rene, George Hovey, and all ... *Trust me*, please, one more time: I'm (personally, since years) *knowing* all those subtle differences, *for sure*. I'm *claiming here* simply like/as a novice user: Disappointments. when trying to read the basics of NetRexx! Not so good, for us, as a *group* :-( Sorry again, when I did wake up or dist*urb anybody! Anyway, I *personally* do think that *Rene* shall *delegate* some of the so many tasks a RexxLA President obviously does have to *helpers* When I can help you Rene, I shall be happy to help you with *tools*, and I do think that David, Kermit, Bill, and I can do that quite in *concert*, collecting all the details, when *you* SHALL BE SO Kind TO PUBLISH WHAT ************************************************************************************************************ * NetRexx Server Pages (*.nsp) now actually are, and where and how we can use them! * ************************************************************************************************************ Again, ... *********************** *TRANSPARENCY* *********************** is the Key issue of success of modern Management, I do think, at least, I'm missing some of this Transparency here, both from you, time to time, but even more fro the *NetRexx Board*! Cannot recall that I have ever seen an *official statement* of the *NetRexx Board* here on this Group! Hence: How are you acting, there: As the Pope, and the Kardinals, or what ? Closed Circle(s), in any and all discussions, or what? Full Stop! Thomas Schneider Author of www.Rexx2Nrx.com, www.DB-123.com, .... PS: all The above URL's will be removed very soon due to lack of incoming Money (cash)! Sorry New Versions shall be then available on: www.thsitc.com/Rexx2Nrx www.thsitc.com/db-123 etc, etc, etc I'm still Having a *heavy* workload (sorry, for you, and me) of the too many projects I did initiate! Sorry, so much, trying to survice, at the minute, only, my friends ... Ok?
