concerns ca. NetRexx pages still at IBM

Robert L Hamilton
http://www.kermitkiser.com/NetRexx/atOnce/netrexxMain.html#about%20netrexx

is another that refers to IBM.

Does REXXLA have a plan for going thru these references ??

AND

Does anyone know of IBM's plans in this regard.

Thanks for your time and enjoy the Day.

Bob,

That looks to me like a webpage originally created by Leonardo Boselli
over a decade ago, that Kermit is preserving so the Quick Guide isn't
lost.

I'm quite sure that RexxLA has no intention of going through other
folk's websites looking for the stray NetRexx URL that points to IBM.
Creating a web spider to do so might be a good excuse for someone to
learn NetRexx and HTML, though. :-)

I usually drop a quick note to the website's admin (Kermit, here) to
point out the stale link, and it gets fixed if they think it's worth
the effort.

Somebody has already written the spider (likely not in NetRexx) and made it publicly available at Google.Com   (strange name for a spider).  Just search for  link:url .

Yeah, but where's the fun in that?  ;-)

Besides, think of all the mischief you could get into with a tool like
that...

ThSITC
Hello Chip,
I am, this time, NOT totally up with you.

I personally think we MUST make an effort to change all Links
appropriately, and also update the available docs.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm planning to remove www.Rexx2Nrx.com by the
end of the year, and only
maintain my new home-page www.thsitc.com, where Rexx2Nrx is listed under
products.

And, trust me, updating all the Links is a hell of a work.
Thomas.
