duplicate postings (again)

              NetRexx Discussion List <[hidden email]>

Five weeks ago I wrote to <owner-ibm-netrexx> about the fact that I
am getting multiple copies of certain postings. I got no response,
but I've concluded that it's really not difficult to prevent, anyway.

As long as the "[hidden email]" address is among the
"To:" recipients, all works well.

The problem seems to occur only when the original post was to another
individual, and the NetRexx list was included as a "Cc:".  In that
case, I get one original copy of the post, and a duplicate copy with
headers updated as below.

Received: from mail.acm.org (mail.acm.org [199.222.69.4])

The munged headers are very consistent, regardless of the original
sender or recipient.  Perhaps Bob Levy has something to do with it,
but I doubt it; there is an additional "To unsubscribe to this
mailing list..." immediately below the original one, implying a loop
of some sort in the listserver.

Until the problem is found, a workaround is to include the NetRexx
list in the "To:" field, not the "Cc:" field.

Could someone at Hursley look into this, please?
