I finally got the help files mostly up to date and packaged the jEdit
NetRexx Plugin for publication. The jEdit project has accepted the plugin and published it on Plugin Central so that it can be installed via the jEdit Plugin Manager menu option. The obsolete plugins NetRexxJe and NetRexxScript have been removed from Plugin Central. NetRexxDE is also obsolete now although it never made it to Plugin Central. Note that the new plugin is built with Java 6 and packaged with a snapshot of the NetRexx 3.03 development build so that it will work with Java versions 6, 7 and 8. If you are running an older version of the plugin (0.2.14 or earlier), delete NetRexxPlugin.jar and NetRexxC.jar from your jEdit jars directory before installing the new plugin. Possible locations are: (Windows) C:\Documents and Settings\useracct\AppData\Roaming\jEdit\jars C:\Documents and Settings\useracct\.jedit\jars (Linux) /home/useracct/.jedit/jars (Mac OS?) I don't know. Please notify me if you encounter any problems with this release! -- Kermit PS: Official SVN source location - https://svn.code.sf.net/p/jedit/svn/plugins/NetRexxPlugin _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] Online Archive : http://ibm-netrexx.215625.n3.nabble.com/ |

If you send any questions, suggestions or problems to me, I will try to respond to them. If you send them to the list, I will see them as well as many other thoughtful eyes so there is an even greater chance of useful responses. Other places? You are just feeding the great bit-bucket in the virtual sky. ;-) -- Kermit On 4/11/2014 11:21 AM, Thomas Schneider wrote: > Hi Kermit, > > just downloaded (via the Jedit Plugin Manager) Your NetRexx Plugin > using the Plugin Manager and > did start some first tries: > > 1.) Kermit, thanks for the answers ....
I am personally still in the learning stage, however, and shall *not* want to create a bunch of mails. Thus I shall collect them locally for a while and then send to You personally as attachment and I think You shall then distribute it to the proper parties by the proper ways. May I, however, suggest to setup a bug tracker at Kenai, either in Project NetRexx or in one of Your personal Projects, unless You decide to use SourceForge instead, which I don't assume. I do have *no idea* how many uindividuals are using Jedfit for Netrexx, and believe Rene and You shall decide and define the wanted steps for feedback and control. Best regards, Thomas. ==================================================================== Am 12.04.2014 08:31, schrieb Kermit Kiser: > Thomas -- > > If you send any questions, suggestions or problems to me, I will try > to respond to them. > > If you send them to the list, I will see them as well as many other > thoughtful eyes so there is an even greater chance of useful responses. > > Other places?
