If this is true I would very much encourage you to continue to do so, I am very excited about that product. Can you give me some information about the current status? I am programming with Netrexx and I found out that is the most ideal language for me. It is much more powerful than Basic and far from being so difficult to understand as Java. The thing I am missing most is an IDE. |
This is a GREAT idea! Will it be available for OS/2 ? Cool idea, I wonder if Mike Cowlishaw knows anything about this? I'll be
sure to ask him at the VOICE speakup event on IRC next week. if anyone is interested in attending, it's Saturday, January 30th at 1PM EST. If you don't know anything about IRC go to http://www.os2voice.org and select meeting info. 1999 08:23:05 -0600 > This is a GREAT idea! Will it be available for OS/2 ? > I hope so! OS/2 has some of the best Java development tools available including things like InstantBasic for Java, Simplicity and IBM's own VisualAge for Java professional - at steal at less than US$ 150! I would be a significant change of direction by IBM if a product such as VisualAge for Netrexx would not be available on the OS/2 platform.
