Don has a good point here. I wanted to do the same (particularly after
returning from a called program). It would nice to be able to check a
variable, change it and continue a program flow.

Subject: [netrexx-course] Interactive Tracing
|I recently cracked open my copy of Mike's "NetRexx Language" and
noticed in the
|Index under TRACE the following: "See also Interactive tracing". But
gee,
|there's no entry for Interactive tracing in the index or (as far as I
can see)
|in the whole book. I'm pretty disappointed. I was hoping for some
capability to
|stop a program and interrogate variables like you can do in the Rexx
language.
|The fact that the entry appeared in the Index suggests that Mike had
planned on
|implementing this feature and it doesn't sound as though it would be
all that
|difficult to do. I'm wondering if this has perhaps been added after the
book was
|published in 1997?
