Warp 3 (aka OS/2) is just one of the operating systems that will handle
java and Netrexx.  Check out http://www.flash.net/~jpedone/netrexx.html
for links to the JDKs and netrexx for whatever OS you use.

Basically if you can run java you can write it in netrexx.

Absolutely true. I have an old laptop with windows 3.11, IBM's ADK and
NetRexx. I'm quite happy with this setup, as long as I stay within the 1.0.2
java spec.
