Hello Thomas,

thank you very much for contributing the source code to your system. I am
convinced that this will make a big difference for our efforts to unite the
Rexx language dialects and to safeguard its future.

Contrary to what I thought, the moment when we check it into the BitKeeper
repository, it will be visible to the world. Therefore would I like to
investigate the different open source license forms before obtaining your
formal permission to check it in; I hope that we can come to a choice
sometime this week; we would choose the same license then for the whole of
the codebase and tag all the source with it.

I'll check the RexUtil classes in tonight in the
org.netrexx.Rexx2Nrx.Rexx2RT package directory in bitkeeper, so Arjan and
me can coordinate work. After we finish that package we can focus on the
code generation, which should have a lot of common parts between NetRexx
and Rexx2Nrx. Are you planning to do the Rey Release from the open source
codebase? In that case we must plan to have it available when RexxLA is
starting beginning of May.

best regards,

René Vincent Jansen
