proposed language changes and discussions!?!

Michael Dag

First I must admit to not have read all suggested changes lately, simply too much to keep up with…

BUT please keep NetRexx as it has been for the past 10 years, it’s functioning fine as a language!

Improvements after opensourcing should be focusing on stuff that is in in Java today that can not be done

In NetRexx today AND is needed in NetRexx.

If you want NetRexx to look like x,y or z because…     start using x,y or z…

I love Rexx and NetRexx because it’s a language my brain understands and I can work with…

I would like to keep it that way thank you!

Just my 2cents…

Michael Dag

<base href="x-msg://446/">Hi Michael,

there is no real need to worry, as backward-incompatible changes are probably not going to make it past the architecture review board.

best regards,

René Jansen.

Right after: "If you can hold on to it, it's the broke tube"  maybe the oldest Dictum in  our business is: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Which is closely related to "Primum non nocere" in medicine.

In aviation, the rule is "The cylinder that doesn't burn your hand is
the one with the stuck valve or fouled plug."
