Fernando,
I have a Google widget that shows me NetRexx news, and the last few days, your NetRexx articles have dropped off - it must be that news is only news for a month. I am wondering why, and maybe you know the answer, the Chinese and Japanese press has picked up these articles in some numbers - several translations and condensed version popped up. Also two Italian versions came out. Do you have any clue why for example German, French, British, Indian, Arabic and African publications do not do this? Can we explore this and see how we can get coverage broadened?
When all goes well, and depending how hard we work in the ARB and the development team, we will have a release 3.01 on the first of September. Would it be possible to have articles to coincide with this? I have a friend who places articles all over the world, and makes sure that the authors are paid - that seems to be a problem in the modern world. Could we try to set something up so we have a steady stream, looking more or less to what other modern JVM languages do? I would have loved to go to the JVM convention in San Jose that is going on right now, to tell them that it finally happened, but it was too much at hand. Next time I surely will go, or see to it that we are represented, perhaps by someone from around that neighborhood.
Please let me know if we can organise something this way (and if we have more excuses to publish than releases - performance shootouts, perhaps?)
best regards,
René Jansen.
