I have this from an old e-mail
This is the NetRexx 2 package """"""""""""""""""""""""""""" NetRexx is a programming language derived from both Rexx and Java. It is a dialect of Rexx that retains the portability and efficiency of Java, while being as easy to learn and to use as Rexx. This directory contains the documentation, executables, and sample programs for NetRexx. To start, point your Web browser at the file: NetRexx\browse\netrexx.html et c. Is there some WWW place to get the installation materials, packages et c.???? I have a copy of TNRL dated 1997 and a copy of "NETREXX 2" dated 22 May 2009. An interesting problem has developed: When I delete the old NetRexx directory, something puts it back with a new date/time stamp. "Very, very strange land we're in, McGillicuty." Thanks for your time and enjoy the day. bob hamilton Richardson, TX USA _______________________________________________ Ibm-netrexx mailing list [hidden email] |

The netrexx.html file is located in the NetRexx.ZIP package. You
should have a NetRexx directory/folder on the machine on which you have installed NetRexx. Use Windows search to find the file if you don't know where it is. Google says that the NetRexx.ZIP package can be found here: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/awdtools/netrexx/ Bruce On Jul 31, 2010, at 9:23 AM, Alan Sampson wrote: > You could try Google... > > > On Saturday, July 31, 2010, Robert Hamilton <[hidden email]> > wrote: >> I have this from an old e-mail >> >> This is the NetRexx 2 package >> """"""""""""""""""""""""""""" >> >> NetRexx is a programming language derived from both Rexx and Java. >> It is a dialect of Rexx that retains the portability and efficiency >> of >> Java, while being as easy to learn and to use as Rexx. >> >> This directory contains the documentation, executables, and sample >> programs for NetRexx. >> >> To start, point your Web browser at the file: >> >> NetRexx\browse\netrexx.html >> >> et c. >> >> Is there some WWW place to get the installation materials, packages >> et c.???? >> >> I have a copy of TNRL dated 1997 and a copy of "NETREXX 2" dated >> 22 May 2009. Ok, then try
It appears that the way that IBM coded their web page it is inserting a blank space when you click on the link. So you can just type in the name of any file you see in the directory listing when you click on the link below. Bob,
Did you do the first thing I suggested which was look on your machine. The html file you are looking for is in the NetRexx.zip distribution file. If you installed NetRexx on your machine you already have it. Bruce On Jul 31, 2010, at 12:07 PM, David Requena wrote: > Bob, > > Please, download from IBM's NetRexx pages.
