And that is certainly a topic that has been discussed here before.

Not to put too fine a point point on it, but there is quite a big
difference between the "BeagleBoard" and the "BeagleBone" (and the
"BeagleBone Black"). In short, they are incompatibly different.
Images built for the 'Board won't work on the 'Bone (and
vice
versa of course). However, there is an active community of
Android people on the BeagleBone list, and a suite of touchscreen
add-on boards available commercially.
You can anticipate a "NetRexx on the BeagleBone Black" chapter in an
upcoming release of the NetRexx documentation. I have just written
it, although it will focus on the out-of-box stock BBB ...
especially since NetRexx on Android has been covered (if not
formally documented) previously here. A parallel chapter for the
Raspberry Pi already exists.
