Hi,

Are there any Eclipse users out there?  I have a partially complete
NetRexx plugin editor.  It is currently relatively low on my priority
list, but if there is significant interest I'll finish it and make it
available.

Hi Bill,

NetRexx... Eclipse... Hell yes. I gave up on Eclipse shortly after working
with it just for the reason that m beloved NetRexx was not supported.

I'm glad you are able to do this. I would never be able to find the time
anymore.

Cheers... and have one on me.

Jerry

I'd really love to have Netrexx supported in Eclipse!

Hi Bill;

I do not use Eclipse as I only program in NetRexx . I would certainly be
very interested in an IDE for NetRexx with Eclipse capabilities. I would
be willing to learn enough to at least help test (I am not a
professional programmer). I currently use JEdit with the NetRexxJe
plugin for programming and it seems from recent discussion some others
on this list use it. They may also be interested in an Eclipse plugin
for NetRexx.

With the projected release of NetRexx as open source, I think this issue
is becoming more important.

-- Kermit

PS: I think it was unwise to make Rene be president right now - it seems
to me like a setback for the open NetRexx project. Will it be further
delayed as a result?

Hi Bill,

Tha would be great. You would catter for half the world developers :-)
Unfortunately I'm not much of an Eclipse user as I belong to the other
half (Netbeans).

Just a kind request: if during the process you come up with a NetRexx
javacc or antlr grammar that you're willing to share, I'd try to
integrate nrx into Netbeans. That grammar thing is the only one that
kept me from such attemprt in the past.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your effort!

I beg to differ.  I think having Ren? as RexxLA president is one of thebest
things that could happen for the NetRexx and MacOS communities.  He's already
demonstrated that he is a wise and talented leader (perhaps the best we've ever
had) and I have no doubt that both communities will benefit from having him in a
position of high visibility.

Hi Kermit,

without pointing in any direction I can assure you that any delay is
not caused by work not being done by me ;-)
All is going very well - things need to run their course. Just hold
out for a little while longer.

best regards,

Ren? Jansen.

Thanks Ren?!

I was just a little concerned that divided responsibilities might
overload you and delay things. I am glad to hear that there is progress
being made! Please let us know when we can help in any way.

Grand Morning,

A little late putting the hand up, but due to some changes I too
would be interested in a NetRexx plugin editor. Would this be Okay for
Eclipse 3.3.x and above ?
