The author of the blog said "Because there are so many languages on
the JVM, I’m sure I’ve left one out. If that’s the case, let me know
in the comments and I’ll add it in."

So, did you enlighten him, Fernando?

Then again, the only thing such online polls is good for is measuring
the popularity of an item among those who are inclined to take online
polls.

Not a terribly representative (or useful) sample set, imho.

The author requests "missing" languages to be mentioned in the comments
so he can add them.  I posted such a comment, and if NetRexx shows up I
will notify the list.

Tom.

Yes, over Twitter. Didn´t post a comment because it seemed to me that
I had to register with Dzone and I wanted to avoid that**.

**Dzone in the past filled my Twitter TL with links to articles which
when clicked produced a 404 error (apparently some bug in the code
that translated article URLs into short ones for its  site´s twitter
feed -an error which I reported repeatedly for months and I was
ignored -- that error seems to have been corrected since then).

Needless to say that left me with a not-so-great opinion about DZone.

FC

Just VOTED for NetRexx (first vote :-))

NetRexx has 19 votes (a lowly 1% of the total) at the moment.  Hailing
as I do from Chicago I'll try to find some way to stuff the ballot box
-- I know dead people who will vote for NetRexx, e.g. -- vote early,
vote often!

Microsoft got even dead people to write to the US Dept of Justice
(DOJ) in support of the firm.

Make that:

"Then again, the only thing such online polls is good for is measuring
the popularity of an item among those who are inclined to take online
polls /and voting bots/."
