Is there an available standard Icon file for NetRexx?

Bill,
not as far as I know; the available icon is on the IBM site, and (smoothed out a bit) on the kenai site. best regards, René Jansen. Can I assume that the image is also open source?
I resized the 64 by 64 bit gif image to 32 by 32, and it works, sort of. It is not my favorite icon, and I think there is much room for improvement. The Standard Rexx and OO Rexx icons are better. For example, see http://graywz.deviantart.com/art/Open-Object-Rexx-Icons-v-2-0-137461383 I think a good icon which clearly indicates NetRexx as part of the Rexx family is very important. While attractive, the current icon is too abstract. On a desktop or elsewhere, the icon for a NetRexx file should somehow convey an indication of the file type. I have no icon design skills. Hopefully someone in the NetRexx world will agree on the importance of this and get something done. If NetRexx is to be popularized, "Image is everything". Bob, on the deviantart web page, you need to download the file.
(click on the "Download File" link). It is zip file containing a very large assortment of OO Rexx Icons. Here is a link to the current NetRexx icon on the NetRexx web site. http://ec2-67-202-36-54.compute-1.amazonaws.com/NetRexxSite_Resource/netrexx .gif On 8/10/2011 12:33 PM, Robert Hamilton wrote: > I do not find anything on any of these URls that looks like an Icon. > > Bob Hamilton > > On Wed, Aug 10, 2011 at 10:07 AM, [hidden email] <[hidden email]> wrote: > > Can I assume that the image is also open source? > > I resized the 64 by 64 bit gif image to 32 by 32, and it works, sort of. > > It is not my favorite icon, and I think there is much room for improvement. > > The Standard Rexx and OO Rexx icons are better. I did a similar inquiry, half a year or so ago, and did get the
available Rexx and NetRexx (as well as REXXLA) icon's then.
When it would be able to attach files on this famous group, I could attach it .. :-( When somebody does still need those icon's, please do send me a private mail, and I can then forward it to you individually as attached .gif's Thomas. ========================================================== Am 10.08.2011 14:42, schrieb Robert Hamilton: I've not been able to find an Icon for either of the Rexx's --
