ReyC.0.1 has been deployed as *promised* last weekend to *project* *ReyC.

It should be available to any developer....

Just go ahead and *do subscribe* as a developer...

Any problems, contact either me *or* David Requena, who *very kindly*

*is doing all this* **SVN staff for me* :-)

PS: David, when not yet done: Simply please change access of *any Developer* in the ReyC group
there on www.kenai.com, that *any Developer* can read/modify the source.

PPS: Still, the *open sourcer banner* in my sources is missing

But for me, at this minute, that is *no problem*   **at all**

Folks, I'm sorry to report that Thomas Schneider has gone missing.

I began to wonder what happened to him a few days ago, so I had a
colleague in Vienna drop by his home today and check on him.  There
was nothing there but an elderly Dell laptop.

It was running a 'bot that scans his inbox looking for words like
"netrexx", "open source", "rexx", "rey", "a", "the", etc., then
replies with one or another piece of ThsITC marketing material,
liberally (and apparently randomly) sprinkled with asterisks in order
to highlight certain words or phrases.

There certainly didn't seem to be any human intelligence at work, but
since it was our only link to the Tom Schneider of old, my friend left
it running.

I wonder what happened to Tom?

Hello Chip,

I did have some *culprits* in my Viennese flat&buroe, which did find
it necessary to steal my DESKTOP, my NoteBook,
and my NetBook. .... And also my brand new RedBullMobile Handy, my
Radio, a watch of mine, and some 600 Euro,
I did have ....

Hence, you see, I'm lucky .....

I do *not* think that any of *your friends* did do this (you do *not*
have culprits as friends....

Anyway,

Hansi Widerlechner, as companion of mine, is coming this Wednesday, 7th
of July, to complete my new hoe-page
www.thsitc.com  (with me, sorry to say) ----

... and I will, for sure, put any news *on my home-page*, only,
........
**and** **NOT* send you such lenghty e-mails again...

*Promised*

Tom.

PS: Chip, I will *never* get *lost* **on this planet**

But I do find your mail very exciting!

Hope to see you sometimes again on any/all REXXLA meeting(s)

Thomas.

Hi Bob, again,

*all* the *classic Rexx Code* you find on www.Rexx2Nrx.com
has been *Ported* by Rexx2Nrx......

The Run-Time-Package, however, has been developed from scratch (in NetRexx).

I am currently working on *ReyC*, the Rey Compiler,

The planned release date for ReyC is 01.09.2010.

Until then, I will *NOT*, repeat *not*, chaneg anything in www.Rexx2Nrx.com :-)

ReyC, in contrast to Rexx2Nrx, is now object-oriented.....

And does support *classic Rexx*, *Open Object Rexx*, *MetRexx*, amd *COBOL* and *PL/I*
as ther supported source languages.....

But's still a hell of a work....

Thomas,

I'll be changing svn access policy ASAP but first let me know:

Is it ok to have 'observers' with write access while having the repository world readable?

Mind that registered users need administrator intervention to attain any role higher than observer.

Hello Fernando & all,

David Requena did make me aware that you will have to subscribe as
an *Observer*,

**NOT** as a *Developer* there at Project ReyC at www.kenai.com, as any
other choice

would *need* an SVN Adminstrators action (which we do all have *neither

I'm currently trying (very hard) to get the Parser again running....

But for the minute beeing just try:

When the current Parser Problems, I am having, by porting this software
sooooo many times,
are resolved, I will inform you, of course...

I do expect to resolve the open issues within the next 2 weeks, anyway ...

Svn access to ReyC repo (WAS: ReyC.0.1 status)

David Requena
Hi All,

Just a quick clarification. When you subscribe to any project at Kenai you become an 'Observer'. For ReyC project this gives full read/write acces to the repository.

In any case the repository is world readable so anyone can perform checkouts without any subscription needed.

I'll be glad to raise anyone access role to the project as long as Thomas approves (it's his project).

Hello David, *approved*.

Thank you so much for your help ... :-))

I'm currently trying to find the BUGS in my Parser, introduced *by too
may ports* ...

(for any some unknwon reason, The PORT from IBM CMS to the Object
Oriented Style has a *bug*)

Sorry to say....

Sorry :-(

But you might already try:

demo1 - demo5

... *and* ReyC -scan *.cbl (and/or *.pli, or whatever, when you like....)

I do expect to have the PARSER *errors*

cleared in the next 2-4 week.

But it seems to be a hell of a work :-)
