Syntax highlighting

christel.u.w.pachl christel.u.w.pachl
Some time ago I succeeded in getting rosettacode,org to use
'my' (thanks to Jon Wolfers who started it) php files
for Rexx, ooRexx, and NetRexx. (GesHi is used for highlighting)
Except for violent refusal by one author there was never much feedback
let alone error reporting.
(I know of one error but it ain't easy to fix it in GesHi due to the "process")

Re: Syntax highlighting

The highlighting for all three language variants look good to me and apart from the "detractor" you allude to I seem to remember that the consensus from the powers-that-be at Rosetta Code were that syntax highlighting is desirable as it is an aid to learning for those who are unfamiliar with a language: and that's the whole point of the site.

I for one appreciate your effort in that regard

As a side note, I contributed a NetRexx language syntax file to the maintainers of GtkSourceView this morning.
If they accept it, there will be more editors that support highlighting for NetRexx coders.

I found the rexx.vim syntax file for vim but I can not find any netrexx.vim files. The one for REXX is a step up, but is there one specially for netrexx??
